| To search on: Title - use 1-3 significant words from the title Author - enter surname (last name) first, followed by the first name or initial. If you are entering a surname only, then add a comma at the end: this will ensure that only surnames (and not similar firstnames) are searched. Keyword - enter word(s) to search for a more precise subject, i.e. 'crows' rather than 'birds'. If a list is too long, add other significant words to narrow down the search. Condition - Your choices are 'new', 'bargain' & 'secondhand'. Bargains are new books at sale prices, publishers' overstocks or a special purchase. A few may be 'seconds', with slight cosmetic damage (e.g. knocked corners or slightly creased covers). secondhand books range from 'nearly new' through 'very good', 'good', 'fair', 'worn' to 'poor' (complete but tatty). If no description of condition is given, a secondhand book will be 'good' or better. If you still cannot find the book you are looking for:
